Ten Days of Backpacking and Kayaking in the Trinity Alps region of Northern California, Sept. 2011

It was a long hike in. This pool sure felt good.

The first two nights we camped on the shore of this lake.

Found some pretty big falls on this hike.

Found a cool spot on the 2 day hike out. Ended up camping along the river and had a nice campfire.

Two Days of Kayaking in the Trinity River was certainly wild.

A Day in Eureka and Ferndale resulted in several hundred pictures of victorian houses.

A night in the giant redwoods on our way home ended the trip.
